I live in Iran but i'm born in Sweden. My father is iranian. I love Iran, most people thinks that Iran is only limits. I think Iran will have a very good future and I'm sure there will be no war with US. Iran is much better than 3-4 years ago. What do you think?? (tell me where you're from?!) and tell me why do you think Iran is a bad country??

Salaam! Hal'e choma'che'tor'e? (horrible spelling, sorry)

I was boringly born in U.S. and I'm basically "American"

Iran interests me, I know very little about it. I'm trying to learn Persian.

I love Persian food. Fehsun Joon(sp?) is my fav.

My sister married into a Persian family last summer. Awesome Persian wedding. Great food. Her husband's mom and dad are very much like "second parents" or in-laws to me and my other sister.

We are all very close in family, since both sides are small direct family. Better food for the formerly southern holiday-meals!!! haha

I now have the 2 silly brothers I never had.

The dad is finally comfortable enough to trust and talk with us, now that he knows us. He's a cool guy.

It's fun to listen to Persian words when they get in a rush or something! Best family. Cool photos from Iran/Germany in their photo-albums. Sad, they still have a house-home back in Iran, but can't go. They might keep my brothers to enlist in the military, so they can't go back yet.

I think war is sh.it and Iran hasn't done sh.it to the U.S. as far as I know...

*Also I love Persian names.

Whatever anyone else says about reasons pro-war, that's c.rap.

They don't really know.

I am from Iran(Armenian), I am living in USA now for 18 years now, I went back to visit my family and friends 7 years ago and I go back every year, even if it is for one week, I see lots of improvement each time.
I love Iran and I think it is a very beautiful country with friendly people, yes they are Muslim but that doesn't matter they have the old fashion good attitude, very helpful to foreigners.
Iran is a very old country with lots of ancient historical site.
If someone visit Iran, will never forget it and will want to go back again.

I have lived in Iran for a couple of years. I am in the U.S. now, but I actually miss Iran a lot. Iran is an amazing country and the U.S. should stop bothering the Iranians. I am sick of ignorant and rude people.

I don't think Iran is a bad country, I think it has horrible leaders. I've read more than once, online and in my local Northwest Florida newspaper, that the Iranian people are not following their leaders the way a nation would need to follow a tyrannist in order for him to be successful. For example, in the Tianamen Square Massacre, if the men in the army had decided their government wasn't worth following and hadn't 'pulled the trigger', the whole incident never would have happened and the people of China would have had a foothold in their communist government. I read of something similar( I don't think it was on the same scale, I can't remember) happening in Iran. But the Iranian army disobeyed orders, for what reasons, I imagine you would know better than I. As the people of Iran DO have a foothold in their government, I believe there is great hope for them and I don't think there will be a war there. I hope you don't think ill of Americans, either. :) We have our good sides and bad sides, like every nation.

Best Regards,
Nicole

Iran should be allowed to do it's own thing all it wants and the US should butt out and mind it's own business, for a change.

I work in Iraq and when I see data on weapons and explosive devices stamped and dated that are proof your country is causing the deaths of my countrymen it makes me very angry. I would definitely support any action to stop this including decisive military action and believe me, you don't want that to happen. You need to protest your govt's actions or suffer the consequences.

The following link is undeniable proof of your cleric's and govt's stand on western civilization.

i am from the usa. i am one-quarter swedish in ancestry, btw. i think you should move to sweden, and pdq. why? the reason is that the president of iran thumbs his nose at us and at the un in its efforts to go into your country to check on your progress reducing U238 to U235 so that you can possess (and sell, to terrorists, i am sure) thermonuclear bombs!

else, about your country: how can you be female and enjoy having lost your modernday rights to walk down the street without wearing the chador?

now that your country is run not only by the snobbish fool of a president that you have, but by extremist theists like the ayatollah khomeni (who fueled the overrun of the american embassy by the mobs in the street, they taking our people hostage, back in the 1980s when jimmy carter was the president), you really are not encouraged to ask questions because then you would undermine the religious fervor that has entirely overrun your country.

we see your country as a major THREAT to the normal, everyday functioning of the ENTIRE WORLD. i am truly surprised that you have not already been bombed like the british bombed dresden, germany, by the allies of the usa and by the usa military.

should iran, your country, continue to consort with the north koreans in the manufacturing of their thermonuclear warheads and the underground testing of same when it is banned by the un, you and your family stand to be bombed, maimed, and destroyed.

for make no mistake: our country will not sit idly as your religious leaders incite violent madness against anyone that is not of their faith, who is, in their terms, one of the "infidel." and make no mistake that the united states is EVER going to forget what happened on september 11, 2001: part of that was fueled and funded and performed by religious fanatics.

your people proved, by holding our innocent people hostage in the embassy for so long, how far back you will bend your backs in order to develop leadership over everyone in the world, based only upon religious fundamental extremism.

we do not agree with islamic maniacs. too bad that you have to live with them. don't you ever ask yourself if you want liberty rather than to follow the rest of the blaying sheep?

i feel sorry for you, and i am worried because i think it will come to pass that you will be attacked in order to prevent your development of the true weapon of mass destruction: thermonuclear warheads! have you ever seen what they do?

we see you as fundamentalist idiots that are always at one another's throats because of the differing beliefs between all of the islamic sects. and we see you do nothing to fight--rather you do not want democracy: you seem to wish to be ruled in theist dictatorship while you attempt to KILL americans, christians, jews, buddhists, hindus, pagans, atheists, agnostics, or anyone else that does not wear the chador and bow down towards mecca.
