Is there any way to tell the last time someone has used there email like hotmail acount cause i wrote someone an email that I lost touch with and I wanted to know if he was even still using that account???

No, but what you might be able to do (I'm not sure if Hotmail blocks it) is: insert a link to a picture on a site that you control in an e-mail that you send to this person.

Check if the image is accessed by someone; if it is, you know that the recipient has read your mail --and apparently doesn't want to respond to it.

write to them if their account is no longer active you should recieve a message from MAILER-DAEMON@yahoo.com, and then it says things like:

Hi. This is the qmail-send program at yahoo.com.
I'm afraid I wasn't able to deliver your message to the following addresses.
This is a permanent error; I've given up. Sorry it didn't work out.


It usually means that the account has been suspended....

I am sorry but ,there is no way.
But as a last try you can contact/mail Hotmail's helpdesk and inquire about it.
That's the best i can do for you.Good luck....

IN OE there is a facility to request for
" read receipt" It will show , that the message
has been downloaded by the computer.
2. OE Message/New Message/ Tools /
request read receipt.
