There are a few possibilities:
(1) Stress
(2) Diet Drugs
(3) Some undetected hereditary family ailment
(4) Public Sarcasm and insults
(5) Mockery of her love for her elderly husband Marshall
(6) Last but not least conspiracy of Marshall family to make
sure she or any of her family did not inherit millions left
to her in the will of her late husband - Billionaire Marshall.
(7) Constant hounding of her by the cruel Media
No matter what I feel sorry for the way she left us. Nobody deserves this much misery and pain in their lives. She was basically a very good person who in her short life had to take on the World for no good reason except to defend her name.
I just hope the little girl she left behind does not to have face the difficulties her mother went through and she finds privacy and happiness with her true father whoever he is.
May her soul rest in Peace !!

Speculation, isn't it wonderful?
She reportedly was not feeling well with fever and flu like symptoms the night before.
Maybe her husband was trying to poison her, you know, with cultured bacteria like in the Farrah Fawcett, Sam Elliott (true story)movie, "Murder in Texas." Maybe that didn't work fast enough so he administered some (more) dope?
Then again, there was some talk about her use of Methadone and there is only so much the heart can take before it gives out.
This is gonna be a tough one to crack if there was any foul play involved, given the fact that Ms. Smith was seldom sober... .

Well i don't know who killed her but in my point of view its a suicide. Maybe its because of stress and sadness of her son's death about 5 months ago. Takin drugs maybe....
