No sex or an IUD but if you are going to have multiple partners its best not to get an IUD but other than that condoms are good especially for any stds

Best and most effective depend on what is best for you. Perhaps you're forgetful...Then a daily pill is probably not for you. Perhaps you're allergic to latex...Then a condom may not be for you, either.

I would suggest going and discussing it with your doctor. If you have no doctor, Planned Parenthood has free clinics with trained volunteers to help you determine which is the best method for you. If nothing else, they have a credible website which outlines the different forms of birth control. The link is in my source.

THE PILL honey, PERIOD. It is the most reliable. And don't even consider rubbers ; they continue to be the LEAST effective ; there are microscopic tears in them. The key here is to remember it is YOUR responsibility for birth control ; not the man's.

The safest would be not to have sex. But then what's the point o life it not to enjoy yourself??!! :) I would say the pill as far as pregnancy goes, but it can cause health problems, or at least they did when I was taking them quite some years ago. Ask you OB and he/she will point you in the right direction, or at least fill you in on all the facts so you can then choose what is best for you.

The pill or the shot...both have shi**y side effects...the pill works great if you create a routine and take it daily.

THE most effective is abstinence.

Trojan (condom) for him and Encare (suppository) for you. Use both of them concurrently before any deep penetration is achieved.
Read the instruction for the latter.
Make sure that you insert the encapsulated spermicidal deep inside your vagina and wait ten minutes before any sexual intercourse to allow for the gel to dissolve. You can insert it yourself or allow your boyfriend to do it.
I always like to insert it myself. My young and very "hot" girl friend used it with success.
Good luck on your uninhibited sexual pleasures.
