When they used to collect Pogs, or Pokemon cards? Those things used to drive me nuts!
I was a Pog collector in my day, but didnt understand the game of Pokemon! lol ;)

pokemon cards were annoying. my siblings had a bunch of them too. the aspect of the game was to "fight" with them. there's different levels of energy, which is how much power a pokemon has, and then u and ur oppenent will put down a card, see which is more powerful by "fighting" with them, and idk, u just keep going at it.
its lame. but in the end, they stopped playing and started selling. yea, they made profit at a young age lol

I didn't collect either of them extensively, but I think Pogs were more reasonable. At least there was no imaginary plot or monsters to come up with. The said thing is that I know some of my college friends (in their 20s) still playing a game like Pokemon (Yugioh or something like that). Good night!

I was a pog collector too. I used to go to the flea market and buy like 10 of them for like 2 dollars. i hated and still do hate pokemon. I can't believe it is still around. Pogs bring back a lot of memories.

I think Pokemon is worse, because it's not only a game, its a cartoon, and movies and clothes and.... Or maybe its just because I was the right age when pogs were "cool" but was older and "too cool and grown up" for Pokemon?

Pogs were worse. Stupid things got EVERYWHERE.
Pokemon is just irritating. I used to be Magic: the Gathering girl. I loved it. Spent lots of money, too. LOL
Bought a computer with my profits when I decided to stop playing. :)

lol was pog the one with those round cardboard things and you had those thick plastic things youd bounce and which ever ones flipped over you got to keep? i never got into any of that but i remember kids in grade school playing that

my son used to collect pokemon cards , i would give anything for him to be begging me to buy him some more cards right now
