Well now you talk about it, I think this man in his letter to his congregation also said he was a liar and had been living a deceitful life. Maybe he was just cured of the gayness ,the lying will take longer.

Homosexuals have made a choice to be what they are . The current argument is that they were born homosexuals, but that idea has been debunked by countless (legitimate) studies. The simple fact is that there are people who have chosen to engage in same sex relationships. No matter what their "feelings" are there is no one forcing them to engage in this behavior time after time and most of them do so with a staggering number of partners. Homosexuality is about sex and homosexuals are indisputably preoccupied with aberrant sexual contact. While there is an element of sexuality in heterosexual couples sex is not the primary or driving force in a successful relationship. Sex in the homosexual world is the god at whose feet they worship. Open your eyes and you will see what a cheap, lecherous sleaze ball your "friend" is. you won't want to go anywhere him again. Besides, if you touch him you'll probably catch something. He knows that some people are weak and he regards you as a potential victim and is watching for his opportunity. Kind of creeps you out doesn't it?

Nah, I cant see it happening, not in three weeks, not four, not in a lifetime. Its a simple matter of biology. Homosexuals have different brains than heterosexuals - In seven areas specifically. We couldn't expect a self-help group or treatment center to make someone see color if they were colorblind, why would we expect them to change any other biological characteristic?
People get all weirded out thinking that sexuality is something that can be changed - it cant - and for goodness sake, its not contagious- and people should get over it and spend their mental effort on something else. I mean really, there is too much hate in the world for me to care who loves who.

May be if you are gay you would want to change straight because that should be the normal thing to do, but if you are straight, Why would you want to be gay? No sense in that part.
Perhaps if you are happy been who and what you are without harming anyone, for me is OK.

no one can be CURED of gayness, people cannot become gay or straight with coaching or psycology, it isn't a choice it is part of who you are, can radical christian groups change a hispanic to a russin? NO! than why do they want to change gay people, newsflah... most of us wouldn't want to be cured if we could, these people who say that they can HELP us are doing their best to turn the world against us.

Exactly! Assuming it's true we can do these miraculous changes, I insist we institute a straight conversion program . . . convert straight people to gay!
Sigh . . . when are people going to start understanding? I at least liked it when Stephen Colbert said on his show that he wanted to believe gays were born that way- because, to quote him, if they weren't, what was to stop him from taking a tempting dip down that road, if he could go back to the other side?
