Well, I'm sure you don't hate him, but it is ok to hate his snoring. Everyone has their little annoying quirks and that is his.
As for what to do, have him see a doctor. If his snoring is as bad as you make it sound, he could have a medical problem that needs attention. Bad snoring often occurs b/c of breathing problems individuals have when they fall asleep.
If that's not the answer, perhaps you should try sleeping in different rooms. I know it might be harsh considering you are married and problem want to share a bed. But, if you sleep better, it might be worth it. It might also help your marriage, b/c you won't be soo grumpy or angry at your husband in the morning.

He should stay overnight at a center that specializes in the diagnosis of sleep disorders. Many times people who snore aren't getting enough rest and feel tired all the time, which isn't healthy. Also, his snoring could be the cause of something as serious as sleep apnea. My Dad snores heavily but he refuses to see a doctor, so my Mom has forced him to sleep on the couch. Good luck.

Well, it's wrong to "hate" him for it! I, too, am married to a buzzsaw. What doesn't help is that I have insomnia. Really the best way I have found to deal with it is to get to sleep before he comes to bed (and no, don't do it all the time, so we have no problems with intimate issues at all!). He always tells me just to wake him up when the snoring bothers me, but then he gets mad! What is best to try to do is get him to sleep on his side, gently nudge him over. Or I just keep touching the side of his face, or keep my hand over his chest. If yours wears pajamas, sewing a tennis ball into a pocket on the back of the shirt is supposed to help, because then they won't sleep on their back. However, mine sleeps au naturale.
Hopefully you know he should be checked out for health problems, which can cause the snoring. Sleep apnea is a concern. However, my husband isn't overweight at all, which is supposed to be one of the major signs.
Wish you luck. Just try endure....

Yes, what really makes me mad is I have two small children that I put to sleep in my room it is hard to put them to sleep then go put them to bed try to go to sleep and then I can't because he is snoring so bad and WILL NOT go to the doctor, I work at home so he thinks that I can nap anytime NOT WITH TWO KIDS but you also have to understand that they do not know that they are snoring, even though they wake themselves up snoring,my husband use to basically call me a liar, like I just want to stay woke and say he is keeping me woke yeah right! but I understand that he is tired and I am trying to be understanding just hang on sometimes I want to hate him as mad as it makes me, I can't because I love him so much, Tolorate him at night Love him in the Day(ha ha)

I feel the same-
Try doing this-
Tape record him-
and then play it back at full volume when
he next goes to sleep-
this way he can be awakened by his
own snoring, and will have some idea of the annoyance it is creating for you-
and then maybe he will finally
do something about it, once he hears just
how bad it sounds.

Okay, I so know how you feel!!!!!! My husband snores so loud that I end up getting so angry that I could spit! But I've now learned to plug his nose so he chokes when he breathes in. I know, you all probably think it's cruel, but it is literally the only thing that keeps me from bustin' a nut! I instantly laugh and feel much better!

I used to snore really bad. When to a sleep clinic, found out I had sleep apena. Now I sleep with what they call cpap. If forces air through your nose instead of you breathing through your mouth. Have your Husband to get tested. People have die from this, so it is serious.
