I suppose that it depends on what you mean by "Indie". I've always thought of The White Stripes as the BEST Indie band ever, but they are quite different from Hellogoodbye and such.... lol.

I love those bands that you mentioned. :) Try listening to Copeland, Mae and Daphne Loves Derby. For more upbeat and indie pop try Rilo Kiley and The Format.
