I think part of the problem was that the Clippers really don't have any outside shooting and defenses have been packing the paint against them and it's been tough in there for Kaman.

Their coach Mike Dunleavy has said that starting preseason camp out of the U.S., I think they were in Russia, hurt them. Ditto for the fact that their franchise player Elton Brand was on the U.S. team in japan so he's pretty tired by now. Add in the usual wear and tear injuries and you got a team that is hurting.

The Clippers have more scoring options this year, consequently, his minutes are down. He also probably over achieved last year. This year's version is probably what we can expect from him from now on.

his game depends on how good his teammates are playing, especially sam cassell. SC is not up to par this year, plus Kaman is not athletic or creative enough to score on his own.

the clips and C.K. over-achived last year and they lost a little of that hunger and fire now... a little spanking from Dun Sr. would do the trick plus E.B. played his heart out in the summer league.

His numbers per minute are not that far off from last year. It's that his minutes are way down this year.
