I felt very grown up at the age of 191/2 years old when I had just given birth to my baby daughter and my mom died of cancer 4 days after I had my daughter. I had no choice but to grow up because here my mom had just died and I had a baby girl that I was suddenly responsible for and I didn't have my mom to turn to. I would not change a thing only except for having my mom alive.

When I gave birth to my kids. I suddenly felt important for the first time. That no one could call me kiddo ever again because I am a mommy now. And I would have someone look up to me for once. Being the youngest in my family made it hard for me. But now I just look at my kids and smile knowing I'm at least important to someone in my life. ;)

When I had my first child. The over whelming feeling of love for my baby turned me into a responsible and independent person. I was twenty one. Prior to that, I only had myself to worry about, and my main concern use to be what to wear on my Thursday and Friday night excursions.
