shall i go for j2ee or as/400???

should i do a crs for j2ee in c-dac or go for as/400 in a little less famous institute??

J2EE is mostly programming, while AS/400 is an IBM server. So I guess in the first institute you will be learning about programming, while in second about system administration.

Now where you will go SHOULD depend on what you like to do out of these two things and not which one has more "SCOPE" as you people call it.
