The commander-in-chief knows about the military strategy because the head of state is supposed to know everything that concerns the country. There are advisers and researchers who are designated to look on this matter and provide the necessary data for decision making.

Oh I am sure he had toy army men when he was a kid, he may have had a GI Joe too, and then a Barbie Doll for all we know,. but to answer this question I have to stop laughing ha ha , Not a chance in hell, he is only knowlegdable when informed by the Military commanders at his side. Bush is a Salesman by trade and that is his trade. Nothing more and nothing less. But less of a salesman than he thinks he is? I wouldn't buy a car from that guy if he gave me a 10 year warranty at no cost? There might be a bomb in it?

I doubt anyone knows about military strategy, or else people would not die in wars. If we knew enough, we would be clever enough to end a war without human casualty. We know no one knows because people die. It is trial and error for every commander in chief, for every general, for everyone. It is important to protect what is yours, and that is what Bush was desiring. I don't believe the War in Irag needed to take place, but I have no idea about miliary startegy. He must know something... if not, why did we elect him?

Her husband invoice replaced into by no potential interior the militia and by no potential served. i'm undecided approximately Reagan, Carter, Ford, Nixon or Johnson. i be attentive to that most of the presidents merely before and jointly with Kennedy did serve.

No... this war in Iraq certainly proves that. He probably has some good help in the joint chief of staff but he is too stubborn to take advice.. at least from anyone but Cheney.. who seems to be his God.

At a barbaric level, YES.
At a modern level, well he has somewhat professional advisers to help aid him, but he says that he's responsible for the decisions that HE makes. This means NO.
I'm a war gamer, and he's crazy, and not intone with such logistics.

This Commander in Chief Bush (if we can call him that) has been "AWOL" from everything the moment he was born.

Apparently, he is still working on swallowing and tying his shoes. He seems to know nothing about the world, unless this super-Christian is TRYING to bring about Armageddon.

No. Playing the board game RISK when you're strung out on cocaine back in your college days does not get you ready for the job of president. So, my answer is an emphatic no way.
