Pokemon emerald question? Pls answer if you can.?

In pokemon emerald How do i catch my latios? Everytime i try to fly to the spot he's in , he goes to a different spot? What do i do? Plz help, and thanks.

You neec to keep on going to different grass areas and checking your pokédex until you and Latios are in the same area. Latios will move to a new location every time you do. This included going into and out of people's houses and other buildiings.
Use a pokémon about level 38 and put that at the front of your team. Preferably something fast that can trap Latios in play. Trapping moves include moves like bind, fire spin etc. The idea is that once you're in the same area as Latios, use max repels to keep the weaker pokémon awzay, but since you're lead pokémon is lower than latios' level, you will still encounter it.

Once you've found it, trap it in play and then proceed to weaken it, re-trapping it if necessary. Don't knock it out as you only have one chance. Once it's weak enough, start throwing ultra balls at it. If Latios gets too weak,, you'll have to let it run. then use a fast pokémon with a sleep move. Repeat the process but ratheer than trapping it, put it to sleep. You'll then have to find it again, but it will be weak and asleep when you do. You should find capturing Latios much easier.

Alternatively, use a master ball. That's what I did.

i have emerald but i caught latios in my ruby game last night it's a cat & mouse game i'd fly where latios would be then he'd fly somewhere else but then he wound up in the same spot i was which was rt 110 going south of mauville in the grass he was right in front of me and i had my masterball ready 2 catch him and i did just keep checking your pokedex with latios picture 2 see where he is that's what i did who knows he might be right where u are. good luck :) and glad 2 help a fellow pkmn player.

This is what I did to catch latias and it will work for latios go to route 119 and go close to the weather institute and have a wobbuffet about level 30-40and go in and out of the institute and check your pokedex ONLY when your out side and counter his attacks and once his health is in the yellow catch him with the master ball if you have it or an ultra ball

every time u: go to a different area, enter a building, exit a building

the spot changes...

ur best bet: go to the route right of the casino (slot place)...and b4 u get to berry man...there is a route that goes up (the one with tall grass)

keep going back and forth between tall grass area and the one below it (bc that way...u always have grass to go to if he's in ur area)...takes a long time..but that is how i did it...to check area, go to pokedex
