It consists of 5 players against 5 players trying to score in the opposite teams basket. baskets are 2 or 3 points depends on the distance the player takes the shot from. you can only dribble the ball (no kicking). It is played in a basketball court which is shaped like a rectangle with lines that define where the outside boundaries are, the middle of the court, and how much your shot will be worth. the game has refs. usually 3. each tam has usually a total of 12 players. (but only five can play at any one time). there are 5 positions in basketball center, power forward, small forward, shooting guard and point guard there are coaches for strategy on how to score or defend.
