I try to remember all the best days. That way, I don't really lose anything. I hold on to best of people and things don't change. Things seem to be just as perfect as they once were. It's a delusion for myself but I guess it helps the pain of loss...

Plus, the bad days seem to come so often while the good are so few and far between.

I've become such a pessimistic fool and I hate it... I hate being like this. I've actually started to wait for things to go downhill, for the bad days to come. I know they will.

At least I can count on something.

I think we all do a little of both depending on our mood on any given day. I'd like to think I only remember the good days but anyone who's ever been in a fight with a loved one knows that we all tend to bring up the bad times as a point of reference unfortunately. All in all I do believe most people desire happiness and try to reflect that as much as possible.

Isn't it strange how we all remember the bad things but very rarely the good. I try to remember the good things more than the bad, but for some strange reason the bad things always seem to be the ones that we remember the most.

The bad memories always pop up first, and play over and over in my mind. It's the good ones that I have to actually think about to enjoy.

The best days are sometimes the worst b/c they remind me of just how bad my bad days are, but I try to manage through the storm.

Humans tend to dwell in bad memory. Some people can work on the good memory more often. I am one of them.
