Students go to school to learn how to read and write and learn many things about the world they will eventually work in. When they are in the classroom if it is not in order no one can learn.
The teachers work hard to prepare the lesson to give to the students. if the students are wild and misbehaving there is no way the teacher can TEACH.
The school board makes rules for the schools and teachers and for the students also. If each group follows the rules and respects each other then everything should go smooth.
Guess what? Life is not like this....there are students who have problems...most are normal but there are a few who make problems for the rest of the class. So what is the teacher to do? Let the student who is wild and crazy get off the hook ...and be allowed to be free.....I don't think so....the student is preventing his class from learning...and needs to be punished. It does not have to be "hard punishment" but given something that makes the student realize he has to be in order.
When the trouble maker graduates and goes to work..will he or she be able to hold down a job....if he has a habit of going wild when work is being done in a factory, hospital or building a bridge?...Just think how this would affect the other workers.
This student is going to be a troublemaker in his job....because he was not taught a lesson how to BEHAVE...
Parents must stand up with the teachers so their children will be taught and rewarded if they are good but if they are bad the parents and teachers must also stand together so the rest of the students can learn while the one who is wrong has his day of learning what is his or her limits and learns he has to obey the rules of the school so everyone has a chance to get their education.

Punishments are necessary in the RIGHT WAY in the schools in the positive attitude , the remarks or words uttered should not have a negative effect at all, on the other hand he/she must come out with a feeling of sorriness and do everything he/she can to rectify it all by themselves unless help is required.

Schools only punish those who should not be in school. People
who apply themselves to learning and respecting given rules learn a work ethic that takes them into adulthood. It was not always so. In 1912 the Federal Government asked American businessmen how they felt about allowing all children entry to 'public schools' to recieve free education. "I'm against it", said a farmer from Virginia, "It ruins them for pea picking." School
punishment should be returning students to pea picking, yes?
