May I suggest-please make an appt. to see your dr. asap on this. As for helping with the pain--tylenol, advil, etc. could help. Or, again, if you need stronger doeses of like Ibuprofen, that is where you will have to go to your dr. to get seen and get a prescription. Can you take a break from playing basketball till you get this looked at? And, if you need, and can't afford your regular dr., there should be a health dist. clinic in your area. Also, for now, for your knee, please consider putting ice packs on it for 20 min. on, 20 off, if the injury recently occurred. If it's been longer, that won't help with any swelling, but Ibuprofen can help. Also, the ice may just help with easing the pain for a little while. Take care.

There are a couple of questions that you simply must reply. Is the discomfort sharp or is stupid. Does the discomfort best arise while you run or does it occur while strolling or hiking stairs. The exceptional idea is that you simply see a surgeon. I have had 15 knee operations and the questions I have simply requested you are going to be very principal in what's the intent. Don't wait nevertheless, pass see a expert.
