is ther some sort of gene thats been isolated that can be altered to make them stop?

there is no gene... *sighs* god knows what is going through their minds. people often molest or sexually abuse others because perhaps there were victims of molestation when they were young, and they never received therapy for their traumatic experience. also, when they molest someone, it makes them feel in control, which is very sick...

Molesting anyone is a extremely sick. They probably can't help it and need to be removed from society. I know someone who did molest his 12 year old daughter. He was convicted and is serving 15 years for it. Not long enough but that's the sentence he got. Will he do something like that again? Probably.

I honestly have no idea. It makes me sick to think about it. I have two daughters that are grown and had a great father who disciplined but NEVER molested them. I just can't imagine. If I was with someone that i suspected or knew was molesting a child, I would leave and turn him into the police no matter what it costs me.

Pedophilia, like homosexuality, is not genetic. It is something we don't really know about yet. I don't know if we ever will, or if we ever should. Not that I advocate pedophilia, I'm just saying like so many other things, are we as a species going to play G-d and manipulate the next Mozart in the womb?

Are you high or just very slow? The men in this section are gay. So they would never touch their daughters or sons for that matter. Gay men are not as sick & twisted as straight ones

Its not genetic, its behavioral.
Its not a genetic predisposition, its caused by either early child abuse or some other serious shock to the young child. Later, they go on to be compelled to physically sexually molest their children. If you can catch it, hopefully you can cure it. Some of the time. However, you have to determine the cause, confront it and determine how to stop it.

pedophiles are pedophiles.....it doesn't matter if it is their own daughter or son or not.....the inclination is there. I find it interesting that you post this under lesbian, gay, etc.....as most pedophiles are straight men. it's not their genes...it's in their their Jeans.
