Like, "God is a white bigot and He blesses me cuz I'm a white bigot, too!"? Or, "God is on our (white conservative Americans) side and He's gonna help us kick your non-white ***!"?

Because it seem that whenever I see these words at Y/A, that's the loose interpretation. "God Bless America" is almost always an addendum to some hateful diatribe. I mean, is it just not something that can be said in an attitude of good-will?

I've noticed that occasionally too.

Example: "We've got to kill the Muslims because they ALL want to destroy America. I won't let them. God Bless America."

That's just idiots, though. You know better, I know better, most of America knows better than to call on God for something like that.

So, no, it hasn't come to mean something negative, not in my eyes. When I hear "God Bless America", I'm reminded of all the things that make our country great: love, peace, tolerance, liberty, and compassion.

The people who call on God in support of ideas in direct contradiction to the teachings of pretty much all religious figures, well, they're not doing it right.

God Bless America.

Since God made the world with many different cultures and we ALL know that - I am sure each and every one of us knows God doesn't like whites the best. He loves us all the same.

God Bless America means just that! There is no IS in that sentence to confuse any Clinton liberal so I don't have to explain it do I?

God Bless YOU ...no REALLY...nothing hateful or sinister...simply God Bless You and have a great night!

"God Bless America" is a powerful phrase that should bring us closer together. That's what it did for the Founding Fathers. In that simple phrase comes something that all of us in the deepest part of our soul believes: we are willing to believe in America! Todays world of stupid warning labels and apologies because some one person is offended is destroying this phrase of belief. God can mean whatever you want, but our belief in America should be the same! The mention of God invokes a belief, thus science cannot explain our belief in anything. America can be right and good if we are willing to let "God Bless America"!

I sign every note, letter, email or end phone calls with God bless our military & the USA. It is nothing dark or sinister I mean just what I say. I am sure Iraqis pray Allah will bless them & every other religion ask for their country to be blessed. I believe God loves all countries but I ask for a blessing to show my respect for God's power & my love of my country & those who serve it.
Judge not - & no one will kick your butt!

mostly because its used by a lot of idiots for the wrong purposes just like "white pride" which is used by racists and by normal white people it can mean white aryanism or suremacy or just mean normal white people who want to celebrate their white heritage and it all depends on how society veiws these phrases and their meaning that too depending on how media shows or potrays these phrases being said

"God Bless America" is an attempt to save what our country was made of from the PC pieces of sh!t that claim to "diversify" and "multiculturalize" America, when actually their attempts are both blatantly racist, and unfair towards whites. Yeah, "African Americans" can have their own black-pride scholarship, but don't you dare make a scholarship exclusively for whites, ottherwise you'll socially be known as being a klansmen.

Oh, sorry I got so off-topic with my "ranting".

But seriously, are all you neo-PC people racist against Christians or something? Like we're the bane of righteousness?

You really need to check your values.

It doesn't seem dark to me.
To me it's:
May God bless America - each and every one of us.
May God bless and protect our troops, may He direct and guide our leaders, and may He help us to grow in understanding and love for each other.
