When my Mom died in a hospice during 2005, I was sure I would dream about her later on. Friends have told me they dreamed about people they loved who died, and that it was like a visit from them. Why can't I seem to do that, too?

You very likely have dreamed about it, but just don't remember the dream. You only remember a tiny fraction of the dreams you have.

Everyones minds function differently, everyone has their own way of coping with death, some have dreams about it, some just feel that it was their fault. In the end though, the dreams are just fantasies of people who would do anything to see their loved one again.

You may be trying too hard. You may be seeing her every night and just don't remember-It's hard to lose a Mom and our minds
sometimes pull those dreams an put them aside thinking tey may hurt us and when our minds are sure-we;ll dream,

No, it is not strange to not dream.
We are all connected by this invisible string and that string still connects us all even if the other passes on.
When you want to see her in your dreams you will, just will yourself to rememebr.
