Steve O has a great tatoo on his back, it is a tatoo of himself, Steve O, giving the thumbs up; when people see it it makes them laugh.
I am an artist, though I have not done fine are since I was young. But I am very visually oriented. A Cartoon moose body builder sounds like something a person would get tired of after a couple of days, unless you think it is very cool. Me personally I don't think it is attractive. Many go for tatoos that they think are fierce or cool in a gothic way (to use the term in its widest sense). Some go for tatoos that are meaningful, like a graphic symbol or hieroglyph or some kind of pictogram, or ideogram.
But if you are going to go with a picture of something you love, you will in time psychologically come to hate the tatoo (my mentor had a PhD in psychology and his uncle had a tatoo removed, very painful).
You could go with a tatoo that is what expresses who you are, or something important about you.
I personally can't have a tatoo, it would drive me crazy, it is too distracting for me, I would go out of my mind with distraction; oh my g. I have a tatoo, 2 seconds later, oh no I have a tatoo, etc etc etc .......... Because the visual image of the tatoo would be in my mind all the time. To some degree this happens to everybody but people who get tatoos like the intoxicating effect of this imprinting, which is based on a psychological mind body connection.
good luck with that. If I were you I would go with a fierce moose head with huge antlers, and the moose has a very serious look on his face.

Only you can answer a question about whether or not to get a tatoo. It is something that you have to live with basically forever. Yes, now they have ways of getting rid of them, but, once you do it, it's there, so, you have to make the choice. If you have been thinking about it for quite awhile then you must want it. You can always go the way of having someone draw it on and live with it for awhile and see how you like it (possibley with henna), or just go for it. I just went for it and have been happy I did. Just know that the bigger and more intricate the tattoo and the longer it takes to get done, the more chance you have that it may not get done right the first time. Nobody told me this, and wish I had known. Had to get my biggest done twice as the ink does not always go in correctly the first time if it has a lot of colors. Good luck

i do not know your age but it seems that the younger generation is all about tattos .... is this a phase you are going through, ie: are all your friends doing it etc.? it may sound like fun and the in thing to do 'right now' but think about 20 + years from now ... is this something you want at that point in your life? i also thought about a small tattoo but i give blood every 3 months and my helping others by donating make me decide that a tattoo was out of the question (you cannot give blood for x amount of time after getting a tattoo). besides, i may have like the tattoo now, but i also had to think if i would like it 5, 10, 15+ years from now. it's an unknown and i'm glad i decided against it. good luck on your decision.

There are some questions you should ask yourself before you get a tatoo. It's going to be permanant and you should think about it long-term. Here's what I asked myself.
Where are you getting it? Is it going to be in a place where it will stretch if you gain or lose weight? Why are you getting it and what is it's significance? Did you like the idea for it five to ten years ago and do you think you will like it in five to ten years? What will tell people who ask you about it? Also, are you getting it because your significant other thinks it's cool and will it remind you of them in a bad way if something happens to end the relationship?
If the answer to all these questions is positive, go for it, if not, wait awhile, think about it. It's not like tattoo parlors are going to go out of business if you decide to postpone getting it.

think of a not so big guy anymore- better yet look at all the OLD sailors that thought it was a good idea at the time. NEVER get a gf/bf name. the tat lasts longer than most relationships do & it's tough to explain how you were soooooooo in love with another person.

Only if you want to have something in common with more than 80% of our prison population.
There are other ways to express yourself besides scaring your body. Try some education, hygiene, appropriate dress, and good manners; those are the things that will help you succeed in life, not a tattoo.

From a father of six boys, we all think they are gross, don't do it you will have to live with that thing on your skin the rest of your life, even when your eighty years old. You don't have to get tatoo'd to be cool, build around the noble things in life, not around the shallow popular things people do to just get attention. Be some one special, stay cool.

I personally do not care for tatoo's to me they fade over time and they are something that can not be easily taken away, but tatoo's are very popular right now, so do what you think is best.

No, you can never get rid of them. When you are 90 years old, it is still there. You may regret it, but it costs a fortune to get them off. They are a hinderance to most people trying to get a job and other situations that have a strict dress code. They make people look cheap.
This is my opinion of both tattoos and certain body piercings.
