Like are people just pretty or are we just biologically programmed to think we are pretty. People see some other animals are pretty and some as ugly, but if they thought about it what would they think of us.

animals that have human-like characteristics are considered by us to be pretty because they remind us of ourselves. I'm sure that animals like fish which look very different from us would think that we are ugly just as we think that fish are ugly. Perhaps fish would also think that whales are pretty because whales and fish look similar. We are very egotistical and our world revolves around ourselves. When looking for a mate, we look for traits that remind us of ourselves.

No, we wouldn't be pretty to any other animal. To them we'd just be hairless apes. And who wants a skinned ape?
