From a football perception, it's easy to see He does not fit for the position as he has less quality than the players he's coaching and I can guarantee you that the england team is one of the best in the world when you look at the quality of players they have and if I had to compare it to a club I can even tell you it can make a bigger then most of big clubs around the planet now tell me does McLaren deserve to coach clubs like; Arsenal, Chelsea, Man U etc...?

Thanx!

I think yes, but I don't believe he should. Give him time. I believe he was the right man for the job, I'd prefer him to Sam Allardyce and I don't think Stuart Pearce would be the right man for the job either. He should get better at club level and see how he does with the under 21's, then see whether he's good enough for the adult team. I think now we've given Steve McLaren a go, if England underachieve, sack him and Sam Allardyce should be the man for the job. I believe sacking him too early will not help them to realise how good, but yet, how crap England are and just a little bit of underachieving will help them to realise that.

If the F.A. do sack Steve McClaren and it`s a big IF, I do not think Stuart Pierce should replace him, YET, but surely if he did get the boot, would`nt Terry Venables be offered the job, YES, I know Sam Allardyce would be the one most people want as Englands Football Manager, And I would rather have him at the helm than the (special N****) one from chelski.

I agree but i don't think that he will be sacked and i don't think that Pearce is the right man for the job hasn't proved himself at city yet (and i'm a city fan). Allardyce or Sir Bobby are good shouts although i feel that Sir Bobby is a bit too old and would prefer a director of football role like he has at the irish fa.

I do like the idea of the Special one tho, i think that would be an inspired choice if the FA would go for it (i mean anyone who can get Fat frank to play). I also like the idea of Gus Hiddink indeed he'd be my choice all round.

I don't think the FA will sack McClaren. They are too clueless to do that. Furthermore, McClaren will claim that he does not have his preferred first choice team, and he will given the chance to qualify for the European Cup 2008. If England fail to qualify, then I can forsee that the gutless FA will reluctantly sack him. Stuart Pearce would want to manage England, but I don't think he is ready yet. But I would like to see Mourihno to manage the England team, although I doubt he will want it. The next person come to my mind will be Scolari.

He should already be sacked. The only good he's done was denouncing the WAGs and ditching Becks. Anybody should replace him, altho I think the best choice would be Scolari. And if it weren't for the ******* media, he'd already be here.

He should never have got the job, but i don't care the worse England do the better. I think Allardyce or Venables should be in hotseat.
