I have combo skin and started using Neutrogena Advanced Solutions. It has the daily face wash, day lotion and night lotion for about $30. It's good stuff and I love it.

Murad makes a blemish concealer that fights acne at the same time. You can find it at Sephora. If your acne is red then you should try a green concealer. I know it sounds crazy, but the green will neutralize the red. It's called a color correcting concealer. If you want a "glow" you could try strobe cream by MAC under your makeup. MAC also makes a mineralized skin finish in "soft and gentle" that you can use on the top of your cheekbones and on the bridge of your nose as a highlighter for a soft glow. Be careful not to use too much foundation because it will look cakey. Make sure to blend it in well....especially at the jawline. I also suggest using a makeup primer. :)

It's not necessarily the skin routine, but the products that you use. Get something that is made for mixed types of skin, there are a lot of different products our there that will work for your. You can try Kheils, Origins, Fresh, all of which are not cheap, but are great for your skin, and if you go to a good store, the salesperson will work with you to tell you how to use what you need.

It's about the products...Go to Clinique...They have a specialized skin care system for the exact problem you just named. I have been using their products for 2 years now and my skin looks great. I get compliments all the time from other people in the skin care industry.

Try Celladerm Acne Treatment Solution. It has salicylic acid, which is known for fighting acne, and it leaves your skin with a nice clean healthy glow!
Be warned: Products like Proactive destroy your skin and clothing.

I have combination and use Murad acne products. They do not dry it out. You can get it directly from their site or Sephora or Ulta.
