If the white man has a holiday I have never known about it. We have holidays for every other nationality where is the white mans holiday?

Now this is getting just plain silly. I would have to do some thinking to come up with all of the days devoted to celebrating various bits of White history. Luckily, the people posting before me have already done it.

We do not have holidays for every other nationality, ethnicity, or race.

Name one, just one, day for Gypsies. I am not even asking Rromani here... just "Gypsies".

Edited to add: thumbs up for Brown Sugar.

Be thankful you are not turned away from a job because all of your kind "steal" or watched when you walk through a store because all of your kind "steal". Be thankful you are not harrassed by the police because you look like a [enter non-White race].

Be thankful for what you have.

Has there ever been a law that stated, plainly, that it is illegal to be White? There HAS been and still ARE laws that state it is illegal or fine you for being a Gypsy. Most are now not enforcable because they are Status Crimes, but they are still on the books and are still enforced in some States.

We have MLK day and the Latinos have Cinco De Mayo. That leaves white people 363 days to celebrate. Celebrate the fact that you can go into a store and not be suspected of stealing. Celebrate the fact that you will never be pulled over for "fitting the description of a suspect". Celebrate the fact that if you do get in trouble with the law your penalty will be less harsh than a person of color. Celebrate the fact that you won't be turned down for a job before you even get the interview just because you're name is Tyrone. Celebrate the face that if you do become successful through hard work and determination, people won't undermine you by saying it was only thanks to affirmative action. Celebrate the fact that you will always be paid more for the same job.

Other nationalities have holidays or alotted dates and times to celebrate their culture and history because they don't have the privelege of having their history celebrated and taught on a daily basis. Children and teenagers in school spend every history class learning about white history in America, and the history of many minorities is barely mentioned. White people don't need a specific day or month devoted to them and their culture.

I don't know on that. But I did realize African Americans had to fight for their freedom three times in a row, or more. 1.The revolutionary war. 2.probably during the Civil War. 3.During when martin Luther King was trying to fight for rights of African Americans. There were probably more times they did fight for Freedom, and equal rights.
