Not conceited, just a little vain maybe. Everyone is a little vain. There is nothing wrong looking in the mirror is you are self conscious. People who tell you this obviously aren't helping your self esteem either.

There is nothing wrong with looking at yourself in the mirror. Just be carefull what you say in front of people while doing checking your self out.

Because girls that are constantly looking in the mirror are seen as narcissistic. Others mistake your insecurity for checking yourself out in the mirror because you think you look good.

im not self conscious at all but i look in the mirror a lot to. people say im vain, but i just say im paranoid. dont wanna be walkin around with a booger in my nose or somethin

What do you mean by self-conscious because if you mean, by one definition, that you are excessively and uncomfortably conscious of your appearance or behaviour perhaps they don't realize....If you haven't told them you're self-conscious perhaps they mistaken your insecurity for vanity.
If you are the other self-conscious than it wouldn't matter what people thought of you.

Don't listen to them, you just care about how you look. I mean who dosen't? Everyone, well everyone I know, likes to look nice. It's fine, your not conceited you just want to look good.
