You are all wrong. In the state of Texas you can become a legal adult at age 17. ANd I believe that you are able to become married without concent.

Even if you went behind their back's, did so the parents could revoke it.
Better even check the Statutory Rape age too.

i think you have to be 18 because until youre 18 youre under your parents' rule so its up to them and they have to be there to make the decision. sounds stupid, but its true.
