I was just curious to know if it was possible to get married at 17 without approval of gaurdian or parents.

You cannot get married in Texas under the age of 18 without parental consent.

You are all wrong. In the state of Texas you can become a legal adult at age 17. ANd I believe that you are able to become married without concent.

No! I don't believe you could.
Even if you went behind their back's, did so the parents could revoke it.
Better even check the Statutory Rape age too.
But don't hold be on that answer for I'm not that certain on the laws in Texas.

No, you need approval. You are too young at 17 to get married anyway.

i think you have to be 18 because until youre 18 youre under your parents' rule so its up to them and they have to be there to make the decision. sounds stupid, but its true.
