What purpose are you trying to serve by sucking in your stomach? A lot of women do not even show during the first 3 months to cause you to need to suck in your stomach. I didn't start to really show until 5 months. I'm 9 and a half months pregnant now and I can suck in some - obviously not enough to hide my pregnancy. But I wouldn't think that during the first 3 months you'd be showing enough to need to suck in though.

I know loads of girls in our show and in other shows I have worked which worked until they were 4 and 5 months pregnant dancing and performing circus acts, our costumes are small and sparkly and sometimes are bikinis, all of us including myself right now are having to suck in a bit so we dont look pregnant on stage, they have all had super healthy babies, so I don't think it hurts, your body will tell you when you can't anymore, it will just happen one day, and you wont be able to hold it in anymore...

I used to do that a lot when I was pregnant and nothing went wrong, the reason being that the baby's in the womb not the stomach...;-), but I'd suggest you ask your docotr too.

You can try!! It may not fit 'in' any more though. It will help you posture, core muscle tone and prevent backache later if you do try not to slouch.

why would you want to? be proud and let that baby belly show. its the only time in life you can be proud of being fat. lol Plus its the only time in life fat is beautiful!!!

I cant..but i'm 18 weeks. I guess it really depends on when you start to show.
