I GOT A MONROE PIERCING DONE ABOUT 8 OR 9 WEEKS AGO. IT IS NOT INFECTED BUT RED JUST AROUND THE PIERCING, I WANT TO KNOW IF ANYONE HAD THE SAME THING AND HOW LONG WILL IT LAST. THANK YOU

I don't, but my best friend does, and hers sometimes gets red. I'm not sure what causes it though. I think it is so cute though.

no its not infected.. well is there crust or puss around it..
it there is then it MIGHT be infected. i have had mine just
for a couple weeks and the reason it gets red is becuase of soap
and rubbing it..
to get rid of the redness i use vitamin e oil

it is definitely infected. The swelling should be gone by the 1st or 2nd week. Any redness there after is a sign of infection.
