And YOU know the truth? If so, enlighten us.

As to the truth and Jesus, there's something about Jesus "being" the "way" (to heaven?) as well as the "way" to "truth". Someone may respond with the correct biblical quote.

Religions and religious figures are always claiming to know the "truth". The best (non religion based) philosophers search for it, but rarely claim to have found it. Sometimes "followers" make such claims after the "leader" is dead and gone.

Who are you to say what is true? How can you be sure you are right when you say the Christian religion doesn't know truth? Excuse me, but I always thought that people are supposed to be open-minded and fair, rejoice in diversity, and not say one thought is better than another. What makes you think you're better than everyone else?

I know what you mean. Jesus is not truth. You may believe that Jesus is truth, but they are two different words! It matters not if Jesus is truth! When someone asks you about truth, you have to go beond simply belief! It is like if I believed that truth was satan, and someone asked what is truth and I said satan. Your truth is not everyone elses truth!

Actually, I've answered one of your "Truth" questions. And I in no way assumed you meant Jesus. Each person has their own truth, and this doesn't mean that they are ignorant. It means that they are true to themselves, whatever that may be.

whilst Jesus became conversing approximately plucking out your eye it if offends you relatively isn't something to be taken actually. He relatively ability that if any component to you physique, and it would not basically be the exterior actual physique yet additionally inner, is inflicting you to sin against God, then you definately ought to "get rid" of the reason on your sin b/c in case you do no longer, then you definately would be tempted to do the sin yet lower back. by means of removing your eye won't be able to help the region to any extent further effective, yet by means of cleansing your self to alter so as that it'd have an impact in making the situation extra effective is what Jesus became asking his followers to do. And for the 2nd quote approximately going to heaven with one eye yet burning in hell with 2, it relatively ability that it relatively is extra effective to go through right here on the earth mutually as doing God's artwork relatively than burning in hell for something of your lifestyles b/c of your sins. relatively, its actual. would not you relatively be embarrassed for a pair minutes/hours by means of doing something you suspect is suitable than burning in hell invariably? however the quote is purely saying that its okay to take the initiative to be harm by means of doing issues you suspect in and not loss of lifestyles in hell for eternity.
