Work with therabands to strenghten your metatarsals (the joints at the base of your toes on the ball of your foot). Put the theraband over your toes and point and flex your foot. This will help your arch some and will strenghten your feet. Also, try putting the tops of your toes on the floor and pressing to stretch your foot and bend your arch some. Don't do it too hard though or you can tear the tendons and ligaments on the front of your ankle. I've also heard people talk about sitting on the couch and sticking your feet underneath the edge and bending them that way, though I've never tried it myself. Good luck to you - and more than anything, just enjoy dancing! Dancers come in all shapes and sizes!

Find a new hobby. Ballet dancers have so many medical problems later in life. If you instructor is honest with you, she will confirm what I've said.

Pratice arching your foot for each day for either 30 minutes or an hour.

Woking with therabands helps streangthen your arch. Try making the elistic across your foot tighter to keep the shoe in place tighter to help enhance the look of your arch.

Also try to keep streching you foot.
