Pretty much everyone who goes on that show starts out saying they like the way they dress, and at the end says they'll never go back to their old ways. Stacy and Clinton do take into account the person's style (some are more conservative, others more edgy etc.) but they show the people how to do it with TASTE. AND, show them how to dress so their body looks the best that it can be..... and who wouldn't want that? That's why pretty much everyone has "conformed" to the rules at the end of the show---because they don't make the people into stepford wives where everyone dresses the same---they just follow some simple rules of proportion (and non-tackiness for lack of a better word) to make people look the best they can look in clothes.

No one said you can't be fashionable and comfortable at the same time. You can still look good and be comfortable. Stacy and Clinton know what they're doing. Once these people buy a new wardrobe, not only do they look better, they feel better too. And they're comfortable!! Everyone should dress appropriately. I wouldn't want to wear black and glitter all the time and I don't like looking at people that show all kinds of skin. Stacy and Clinton rule!!!

if you care what the world thinks then you should go with the flow. But you have to understand that people judge you by your appearance, if you are trying to make a good impression on someone then you need to dress appropriately. You should be able to find clothes that look great and where you are comfortable in. They both come hand in hand! And I love Stacy and Clinton, you have to agree that the participants do look way better at the end of the show rather than a the beginning.

I think Stacy and Clinton are right. A person may feel comfortable wearing black and glitter all the time because they are used to it. Stacy and Clinton teach people how to dress and once the people learn the how to, they feel even more comfortable in their new clothes.

I think they are right when they get people to dress more age appropriate or to stop dressing cheaply, and my god that dumpster girl was scary and needed an intervention. I know I may not look super in gap tshirts and capris all the time, but it's comfy. Plus I would never dress that casually for work or a party. I think some people don't know what to wear or when to wear it and they are the ones that should see Stacy & Clinton.
The person I want to see is Nick, the hairdresser. Isn't he amazing? I want him to cut my hair, but that fake ho can keep her raggedy make up tips. Don't care for her or her Crest White Strips, either.

They are always right....Plus almost every person has said that after the whole make-over process they feel more comfortable in the clothes they wear and are more confident in their appearance. I'm sorry, dumpster diving for clothes is gross...If you are into not so new looking clothes then go to a second hand thrift store not the dumpster!

People dress bad because they don't know how to do different. Once someone like Staci or Clinton show them what they can do with their appearence, they will love it. Trust me, they're not going back to the old habit because they will have more self confidence and attract people with their new look. Deep inside everyone wants to be attractive. Either it's clothes or plastic surgery.

At first I was skeptical about what they say, however after watching their shows more and more, I found myself using what I have learned from them, while I shop.
I think you can still feel comfortable yet put together if you try using their "rules".
It might be hard at first but after a while you will feel better about yourself and you'll find it easy, and never forget the first impression is really important in our social life. :)

If ya don't feel comfortable in $412,000 skirts, then go dumpster diving!! I've found it to be quite relaxing.

People percieve you by how you look. If you look like a trashy trick in sparkles and glitter...people are going to treat you like one. If you look like you got your clothes at a dump...people are going to treat you that way. Regardless wether its right or not...its true and society is not going to change. If you want respect you have to project and demand it. If you put no effort in to yourself no one will put effort in to you! I donno whats uncomfortable about fine cashmere and nice jeans. Everyone has to find their own style.....style disaster is not a style.
