Can a married man have a relationship with another woman for 16 months and yet claimed there was no love feelings, only physical? He did tell her he loved her but he said those words to please her coz he knew the woman wanted to hear those words. The man ended the affair over the phone after 16 months and went back to his wife and family. Men, I need your honest answer on this.

i think its very possible. even if he had feelings for the woman he loves his wife and family more and that is more important to him. the 16 month relationship could have just been about sex even if he did care for the other woman.

I'm not a man, but listen girl. Men do it all the time. Women do to. First, if he truely loved you or his wife, he wouldn't be a cheater, he'd do it the right way. Second, doesn't necessaryly mean he never had feelings, but feelings change. He made a commitment to his wife. He has obligations to his children.

Think about the relationship, and think about whether there were other good times or if it was just about sex. It will make you realize.

Men and women are very different. Men can easily have sex without any attachment. Many women want to have a connection to the man. Move on. Even if it's hard. Go on dates, meet men on the internet, bars, parties, have friends fix you up, join a socail group. Also, involve yourself in whatever you really like, a hobby, your work, start a business, travel, learn a language, whatever really speaks to you. Talk to your friends about how you feel. If your friends don't understand, talk to a professional (conselor, pastor, social worker at the free clinic). You are going to be fine. Everyone, I mean everyone, gets there heart broken. It's just part of life. Good luck to you.

I don't think it matters if you are a man or a woman. I know someone that was in a relationship for 3 years and didn't love that person. Some people use one another for company.

yes, it's possible.
known as an affair or a very long fling.

alot of guys would say what the ladies want/need to hear, just to get physical. once they are tired or when they have a new target, they'll dump the ladies and move on.

He got the best of both worlds. He broke off the affair for either reason:
He either was about to get caught or,
He got caught.
He got the unattached sex from his mistress. He pulled the right strings to get what he wanted.
