The Hispanic pop star died when I was just 4 years old. I just watched the Selena movie two weeks ago. What was your reaction when you saw it in the news?

I was 13 when she passed and remember hearing it on the radio, I was in complete shock, she was huge to me and I loved all of her songs.

I was 17 when she died and I remember it being on the news. I remember being shocked because some hispanic girls at my school always had her music playing (before she died) and I thought she was really pretty and a great person too. I felt really bad for her husband and family.

I saw the movie too... it was very shocking and sad when she died.I didn't know much about her life before that.Such a beautiful young woman with everything going for her.

I didn't know her or her music. All the Hispanics kids were crying and shouting slogans and all I could hear was,"Viva Selena........" It wasn't until after she passed that I found out who she was.

Well, I am always sorry when a young person dies so young.
I was also glad that you got to see the movie and your seeing it made the news.

sad news..especially watching the movie. The movie makes me cry all the time-she would've been big!
