Since I'm a bit of a night owl I find time to do multiple things.
Play music, listen to music, read, work, sit by a warm fire with my daughters....just be in the moment and find interesting things to do.
Life is a wonderful thing. There is so much to learn and explore.

I take a bath with an aromatherapy elixir. Usually a citrus scent or a mint works well for me at night. I make the water really hot so I can relax my muscles. Bathing in the dark helps too. At the health food store, I buy a bath salts in bulk that really puts me to sleep. If you want to try it I can send you some. Next I have a hot drink like tea or cocoa. When I go to bed I use twice as many blankets to help me feel secure and warm. At least you will feel great even if you have to stay up half the night. I have insomnia almost every night. Best of luck to you!!

I have sleep apnea, so I have a c-pap machine that goes over my nose. When I put that thing on, I'm out like a light. Rare instances of insomnia: benadryl.

I get up all night long and get drinks of water and take pain meds, and use the head, get a few winks and do it all again in a few hours.
I also have really good one sided talks with my cat.

Think about stuff. When I was an insomniac for YEARS I would play tricks on people while they were asleep. Now I just think and listen to my husband snore.
