i'm looking to upgrade to a better video production software. i have had pinacle studio 7, upgraded to 8. i'm currently using pinacle studio 9, but have had many problems in the past and had to download patches often. would like to be able to get good video quality and also be able to output to mini dv tapes.

try using inbuilt movie maker ot using media encoder.
i suggest media encoder to record tv b/c in quality choose video for lan to have minimum file size.
use movie maker if u have to edit video. in both cases try NERO like software to write "video cd/dvd"
