I have had no cramping at all until today. It is not excruciating, actually it's just like a dull period like ache. I have no bleeding at all. Has anyone else had these symptoms at this stage of pregnancy. Am I worrying about nothing?

Honestly, I would check with your doctor just to be safe...but I'm 9 months pregnant now and I've had period like cramps the whole entire pregnancy. Every time I say something to my doc - he asks if I've had any bleeding and when I got to where I could feel the baby he would ask if there was any decrease in fetal movement. I always said no to both, so he said that unless that changed things should be okay.
You have to remember that your body changes constantly the entire 10 - yes TEN - months of pregnancy! Your baby is always moving and rearranging things in your tummy and you are stretching too. You want to check with your doc any time you are concerned, but try not to freak out because there's many more feelings you'll experience until then end! It's truly amazing!
Good luck to you!! :)

I had the same thing and was scared to death.. a call to the doctors office even made me more scared, but to ease your fears I found out that the dull cramping is your uterus stretching for the growing baby... So relax now that you know, It would be nice if someone can tell you all of these things, you will also get these later after delivery when the uterus is shrinking back, congrats on your pregnancy, I am sure you are fine try to enjoy this without the worry, one word of advice.. don't read all the pregnancy books because they can make you so paranoid.

I am 10 weeks and still get cramps all the time, I wouldn't worry about it, they say in the first trimester the only danger sign is when there is blood, or excruciating pain...

I get period like cramps, also weird kind of spasms, and also loads of collic.

I think you should be fine, mention it to the doctor next time if you like.
They alsos say strange pains around your ovaries are normal as they are on full time work producing hormones for pregnancy

Best of luck, it's easy to get scared in the first trimester I was paranoid my first two months, I am starting to relax a bit more now

Stay off your feet if possible( bed rest )is the best. Then if it continues after a couple of days of rest or you start bleeding call your doctor. I would not be seen at this point because if they use an instrument to look inside they could make you miscarry your at a very delicate stage and they usually don't like to exam you internally until you make it through your first trimester. This happened to my daughter and she was examined and she lost her baby, but I had cramps with my son and I was just under a lot of stress and my plate was over loaded at work , after a weekend of rest I was ok. Try not to worry and if you can't stop from worrying call your doctor for instructions. Good Bless you and your baby.

I am 6 weeks and 5 days and I get cramps too, this is from your uterus stretching to make room for the baby. As long as it is not really bad pain or bleeding you should be fine, but always feel free to call your doctor or midwife. They will answer all of that for you. If you are scared or confused that is what they are there for. But I myself am not worried since I had this with my first pregnancy and now again and both times I was told it was my uterus stretching for my growing baby.

I had cramping in my last pregnancy. It had me scared out of my mind, every time I'd have a cramp I would run to the bathroom to see if I was bleeding. I called the doctor and they said unless it was unbearably painful, it was normal. Just your uterus stretching itself out for the new creature growing inside it lol. What was even weirder is that when I would orgasm I would have cramps, more painful than the regular ones throughout the day. That was embarrassing to tell the doctor but he told me it was fairly normal and maybe to lay off the orgasms until the cramping subsides.

Been there! I had cramping, mostly right sided, from the day before I expected a period until I was around 15weeks along. EVERY DAY! Talk about being on pins and needles. They did do an US at 7 weeks to confirm that it was a uterine v. tubal/ectopic pregnancy. They said it was probably just the ligaments on that side of the uterus being "strained." But when in doubt, consult your OB.

i had cramps starting at about 6 weeks and lasted until i was around 4 months. it's just your body getting use to making more room/stretching. after my 4th or 5th month i was ok and then at 8 months, i had lots of pressure rather than cramps. to me, it felt like there was 3 or 4 bricks stuffed in my belly. and when he was born, it pretty much explained the pressure, he was 9lbs. 3oz.
good luck, but if you have any doubts, call ur doc.
