what is "active directory"?

my computer is starting active directory and it's taking a long *** time. it's been 20 minutes at least. i have 03 server and so far i hate it cause i can't figure anything out. there's sooooo many options and add-ons which is good but not if you don't know how to use any of them.

you could have found out 2 days ago by going to wiki and typing in "active directory" instead of coming here. stop wasting our time.
