An Erikison coupling is a 3 piece coupling designed to connect 2 rigid pipes together. It is used where the two pipes cannot be screwed together because of bends in the pipes and/or really close work areas, like in a trench or an un-poured concrete slab with re-bar.

It is used by the electrical trades. It comes in sizes from 1/2"-6". Although the 6" size may be hard to find.
