I dont know much of stem cell research, and I want to know why some people are so against it

The reason that most people, myself included, are opposed to stem cell research is this: In order to harvest stem cells, which are found in developing fetuses and amniotic fluid, the fetus must be sacrificed. Just because the left wing thinks that the unborn fetus is just that- a fetus, does not make it's life any less precious.

Embryonic stem cell research, yes I am.. It promotes abortion, they use the stem cells from dead fetus. It's unmoral and taking a life to save another
Bottoms up-- supply the facts, where have you ever heard of someone having a child to give the first child an organ? Show me where you seen this at!! I don't think that's true.

Where on earth did you hear about sacrificing one baby's organs for another child?
And by the way, there is a huge difference between stem cell research and giving someone a chance at having a baby.

there are two types of stem cells. stem cells harvested from adults. and stem cells harvested from frozen embryos the result being the termination of the embryo. some people belive its wrong to use human embryos for research. it also has been shown that adult stem cells show more promise as far as reasearching cures goes. i hope this answers ur question n_n

because they cry that its creating human life than destroying it for its cells and they call it murder/ so here is my question for those people who call it that. What happens when a family has a sick child and needs a relatives organs, or blood to help them , then her parens have another baby just to save that one childs life ? Hmmmm
Im for it, go forth and research! and for the moron above me, if you dont want man to play god, you better tell all the women who cant conceive on their own they cant have babies and keep in mind that might be YOUR WIFE or sister one day!
