My boyfriend is the best. I love his facial hair but when we kiss it tears up my skin. I have really sensitive skin and after a few minutes of kissing my face is burning and red. Is there anything I can put on to help with the irritation?

this happens to me also..i have this thick cetaphil hand cream, and i usually put some of that around my lips and chin..not enough to be all goopy or anything, just a little bit, and i rub it in like i would my regular moisturizer. this acts as a bit of a barrier. you could also ask your boyfriend to rub some moisturizer into his facial hair every so often throughout the day. he doesn't have to douse it or anything, but continually using it will soften up the hairs so it doesn't irritate you as much. if he's a good man, he'll do it for you.

if he loves you he'll shave.
but dont pressure him,
i mean, you know how people get when they think someone's trying to pressure them to change.

(oh and if he doesnt, he's not worthy of you and if you r hanging with him and you have terrible skin, dump 'em or at least stop kissing. you'll be doing us and the society a favor LOL jjk.

Eventually your skin won't be affected by it. I was the same way at first with my boyfriend (he has a full beard) but now it doesn't bother me.

This happens to me too. I just deal with it in the moment and tell him later he has to shave soon.

apply some cream that relieves irritation and itching like 'five star' (a brand of a cream). or calamine lotion.
