What else would you think they'd do? Throw it out with the garbage. I don't think the pet store would pay extra to have an animal buried or cremated if they didn't have to. Just imagine the number of kittens, puppies, birds and fish that die every year in pet stores all over the country/world. It's crazy. Nobody should buy pets from a pet store. I hate the little glass cages they put all the animals in and they definitely don't care about the animals welfare.

I have to agree with "eroticdollz".
And I would suggest to NEVER get a pet from a petstore. Every paper has private owners. Pet store animals are usually much to expensive and not as healthy.

I believe that they goin to a special bin (like clinical waste does at a hospital) and it is then incerated (burned).

I can assure you that they do not feed it back to the animals (which is what some one one told me - how wrong is that) and they should not in the case of fish be flushing them down the drain.

i used to work in a hospital and i assume they have something similar. if someone gets a liver removed it goes into "medical waste" garbage. it gets incinerated at a special site. i don't think you are supposed to throw dead animals in a dumpster.

I had a pet hare that died recently. I took it to the pet shop and the guy in there took out this spray and sprayed my dead hare. I could'nt believe my eyes within a few seconds my hare was alive and well. I said to the guy in the pet shop....My god what was in that spray....He said ....wait for it....Hare Restorer!!

throw it out? bury it? I HOPE they bury it but I doubt it...
They just want the dead body back for proof though.

Probably put it in the trash, or flush it if it's a fish.
