I don't think it's necessarily that more women are gay, it's that more men aren't honest with themselves. Personally, I know very few women who haven't experimented with other women. It's just that there is a stigma (however wrong it may be) on men with other men. It may just be more acceptable for girls to be together (how many men don't want to see 2 girls together?) I don't know what to say to there not being as many in other countries, but it does seem like as American's we're usually more open about these kind of things. Plus, you're looking at a singles ad.
