Profit. The american economy is based on war.The only outcome is hatred. Not for the people, but for their war-mongering administration.Unfortunately, the American public are the ones who pay for it.Look to haliburton oil for the answer. They are the ones who are profiting from the backs of brave American soldiers doing what they are told is for the good of all,and paying with their lives for it.When will the American public finally say no to corporate profit and get back to how the world once saw them as?Respect through fear and intimidation is always short lived. But the profits............

Easy! Money!

We have made 500 new Millionaires off of the money we earmarked for Iraq, making 1 for every 26 of our soldiers killed.

How people can become millionaires on money used to support our troops I will never know! It is obscene, Just like some in the Republican party!

You have seen the outcome: 54,910 wounded and 3,115 dead.....so far!

Beachman! Too much dope? And what community are you talking about? None we attacked has ever done anything to us! And one we are preparing to attack hasn't either since 06:22 AM, October 23, 1983, when Hezbollah attacked a Marine Barracks, killing 200 Marines and 24 other servicemen! What did Reagan do? He Ran!!!!!

Republicans? You should consider the following:

The US was involved in four major wars in the 20th century.

WWI - Started under Wilson, a Democrat, in 1917.
WWII - Started under FDR, a Democrat, in 1941
Korea - Started under Truman, a Democrat, in 1951
Vietnam - Started under Kennedy, a Democrat circa -1962-63. Expanded under Johnson, a Democrat to a high of 500,000 troops by 1968.

Also, each of those wars (with a combined total of 500,000 American deaths!) was begun with the blessings of Democrat-controlled congresses.

Doesn't appear that the Democrats have much of a track record in this regard... does it?

Why do the Democrats push for the liberation or amnesty of the terrorist community? Is it becasue their human rights are being violated or that they can't live in peace for fear of a US Army battalion coming by to get them?

You don't drink the kool-aid, you swim in it.

Outcome? - I think it's a bit different for each. Some want money, some want some stupid heroic "patriotic" feeling, some like watching it on tv, others for religious reasons - armageddon and all that. They are certifiably insane.

The idiot above is a great example. How weird would it be to live this kooks life?

Do you think about this, If Hussein was still Pres. of Iraq, will we have to confront another nuke threat from them. And it is clear that Iraq is one major supporter of terrorists as Iran! One day, a terrorist with nuke can blow up many blocks in US, not just WTC! You will see clearly why we have to war against them on that day, but it's too late! Pres. Bush never let money ruin his legacy. Please research about the history of US from VN War to this day!

I suppose you are speaking of war...Simple, it's about getting rid of bad people. There are things you need to die for and be killed for.

I do however object to the statement that we "push for more death and violence" especially compared to Liberal viewpoints. I see the degradation of law enforcement and the lack of accountibility afforded to criminals and murders by Liberal viewpoints. Due to Liberal judges and juries more criminals are not being held accountable. What this creates is more crime or as you put it a "push for more death and violence" to occur.

*sigh* if a ravenous, rabid beast was howling at your doorstep and you could hear it devouring your neighbor outside and you had it in your power to stop it - would you? Would you try to stop it if you knew that once it finished its horrific devastation outside it would be coming for you next? And what if it had already attacked you once before with loss of life among your family? Would you do nothing?

Actually, we push for the death of terrorism and the terrorists, not the unborn babies and soldiers. We are pro-chance (give the poor kid a chance to live), not pro-"choice" (hey, its human life, but since when does that stop us?)

What they're pushing for is power, wealth and control. Death and violence are just fringe benefits.
