OK! for all you smart asses, I'm not a ditz but where I would usually put my Jack my running boards are right there, this is a custom SUV. I am more accustomed to changing the tire on a small sedan not an SUV.

The points where you place the jack has not changed you still put the jack in the same place no matter if you have nerf bars or not. You put the jack on the frame behind tire or in front of tire depending if front or rear tire needs changed. Or you can put jack under lower A arm on front or under axle on rear. Running boards have no affect on jacking. Just make it more of a pain to see under your suv.
GOOD LUCK

Pull out your owners manual and turn to the index. Now find the section on jacking and tire changing. Turn to that section and READ.

I am a woman and what does running boards have to do with changing a tire. Your running boards have no affect on your tires!! That is it in layman's/laywoman's terms.
