Oh yes I do

Big time. I had first hand very dramatic experience. I was diagnosed in 2001 with ALS - degenerative, incurable terminal illness.
I was considering trips to Russia or China for stem sell treatments.
However mean time I received miraculous healing & no longer have that dreadful illness.
But I know few sufferers & the agony of living with similar condition.

To me it is a difficult issue. I am a Christian but also a biology/nursing major. I also am torn because I have a father that suffers from neuropathy and a grandmother that has dementia. I know that stem cell research could possibly help correct these problems. I also could stand to see someone like Christopher Reeve suffering when he could have been cured by a few frozen embryos. My scientific part and compassion for other humans say yes, go for it, but I can't figure out if it is morally wrong.

yes i think people need to get out of the dark ages and open up their damn minds.
stem cell reseach is something that could save a lot of peoples lives. i bet in the future...people will look back on how crazy people were for letting their beliefs(religious) hold them back as a society.
