at this time, maybe baron is still better, coz he has more experience, but maybe 3-4 years from now, paul will be a better player. paul is a triple double threat night in night out. he doens't need to score a bunch to make his team wins

Chris Paul is an all around better ballplayer than Baron Davis. Given Baron Davis can absolutely explode on some nights and be impossible to stop. But you can't ignore the fact of the chemistry Paul brings to his team. He is a team first player and has done a very consistent job of getting everyone involved in the offense. If his team isn't performing, he has the ability to control the game from the outside or driving it in the lane.

Chris Paul cause he can play some D when he wants to. He is also a true point guard where as Baron is more of a shooting point.

Baron does deserve some points for being from UCLA though.

you have to look at the position that they play-point guard. this means that you run the offense and direct the team on the floor. baron looks for his shot more than chris who always involves his team. when you run the point, you should drive, draw, and dish. baron will more than likely call his own number because he is used to being a two guard though he has had a couple of good assist games. chris has a pure point guard mentality. he is not playing a position just to fit in like baron who is too short for the other shooting guards throughout the league like wade and kobe.

although baron davis is a better scorer, he has been inconsistent throughout his career while chris paul is already among the upper echelon of point guards and is on the rise as a player.
