You should tell her to do what she thinks is best for her and whatever that is you'll support her.

give her your honest opinion.....and then let her know if it's something she feels she must do, you dont want to hold her back from doing it.
If you hold her back and she don't go and really wants to go, and has regrets later......she'll blame you....possibly get angry about it later and hate you...could be a once in a lifetime opportunity. a really dangerous once in a lifetime opportunity....but if she does or doesn't go.....try to back her 100% with her decision....let her make it.
being honest about how you feel may sway her decision, but it still has to be hers.
And yes, you do hear alot of horror stories about things going on over there with reporters and soldiers, but unfortunately staying home don't keep anyone completely safe, either.....

If I was sure I loved her for life, I would beg her not to go and take the blame. You can make loved ones do things for your sake sometimes but they blame you for it so be ready!! I would say I was sorry but I wanted her more than anything else that mattered. Plain and simple. @8-)

I would say no, I couldn't let my partner go to a place like that. You hear so many stories from reporters who have been there and have been tortured or killed.
I don't think it's worth it.

I know in your heart you want to tell her no. Just know that this is a huge career opportunity for her. She truly needs your support if she honestly wants to go. Its a hard situation. I hope all goes well.

If you really love her you have to be willing to let her go. If you say no and she doesnt go, she will always regret it and blame it on you.

I would say "Hell no, don't go!" At least I would say that to my boyfriend/fiance because I am a girl.
