My mother is a sociopath, and my sister who wasn't raised by her sees my life as my mothersbecause I said nick meaning nickname on a IM page she got I had a boyfriend only six months after my husband passed that would be something my mom would do. How do I get my sister to understand that I am not my mother and I am not in need now or in the near future of a boyfriend.

You can't make anyone do anything.Just prove to her that you're not you're mother,but you may have some of your mother's old habits.
