Generally speaking, and because the guys and myself have talked about this very subject, Your typical unicorn tends to be very much on the shy side. Yet during the maternity cycle which happens every fifth leap year, they tend to get very 'horny'. Even in this stage they still tend to taste a little pungent. On the other hand the mermaid always tends to taste like fish. So I guess my preference would have to be the unicorn. One possible downside which always seems to happen is you become a little horse. Hope this helps.

Dead - unicorn. Bear in mind that this is an extremely evil act and will certainly mark you as an enemy of all fey as long as you live.
Live - mermaid. Either way it's a fishy taste, but the sound effects are something else again!

If I'm eating Unicorn, it has to be well hung, otherwise it's tasteless.
Mermaid, on the other hand, can best be savored fresh from the sea.
On the whole I prefer fresh Mermaid, because, these days, Unicorns are seldom well hung.
